Artist You Need to Know: Kenton Bryant

Growing up just a few hours up the interstate from Nashville in Kentucky, Kenton Bryant wasn’t initially a huge country music guy.

Bruce Springsteen and The Eagles were two artists that inspired him the most. Eventually, meaningful and impactful country songs by the likes of Eric Church and Keith Urban got his attention and he never looked back. It wasn’t long before Bryant made the move to Nashville to chase the dream of making a career in music.

When you hear Bryant’s music you can appreciate the diverse, yet quality of the music he was raised on. If you’re a fan of Eric Church and Kip Moore, then chances are you’d be a fan of Kenton Bryant like Church and Moore he’s able to blend a rock and roll sound with the country music production and lyrics.

Last year he released his self-titled debut EP which gives fans a glimpse as to who he is as an artist. Songs like “Out On a Good One” “Watered Down” and “Beer And A Bottle” instantly give you a feeling of authenticity from the artist and that’s what country music is all about.

Bryant followed up his inaugural project by continuing to release new music this year. This spring he released a fun jam about his memory with whiskey in “Way Back,” a song that has already garnered him over 400,000 plays on Spotify.  His most recent release “Lonely Don’t Look Good on You” shows off his songwriting chops as he continues to progress as an artist.
