New Music: April 29, 2019

Pink and Chris Stapleton teamed up on a song for Pink’s new album that came out on Friday. These two powerful voices coming together is magical. If you do one thing this week, listen to “Love Me Anyway.”

Dylan Scott released his six song EP Nothing To Do Town this weekend. He’s already released three of them prior so it’s not a full project of new songs so we’re hopeful for a full album soon. Check out “Look At Us Now” as he sings about him and his wife’s relationship.

Grab the tissues for this new song from Granger Smith. Granger is doing a pretty cool new project that we shared on our recent podcast and this is another song from that project. “Heaven Bound Balloons” is a must listen.

Darryl Worley is back. He released Second Wind: Latest & Greatest, a 15 track album that includes eight of his biggest songs remastered along with seven new songs. We’ll recap the album later this week but for now listen to “It’s Good to Be Me.”

 

Tyler Rich has a message for his fellow guys in his latest song. “Leave Her Wild” is his latest as he sings about empowering your woman and let her show off her fun and rebellious side.

 

Similar to Dylan Scott, Maddie & Tae released an EP that includes songs that we’ve already heard from them in the last year. They are heading out on tour with Carrie Underwood starting this week so it could be another big year for the duo. Check out “New Dog Old Tricks.” 

Drew Baldridge released yet another new song as it seems like he’s gearing up for a new album. “Middle of Nowhere Kids” is the perfect anthem for those of us who grew up in small towns in the flyover states.

Rachel Reinert, former lead singer of Gloriana, continues to release great songs as she launches her solo career. “All We Have” is her latest.

Sammy Arriaga is out with a new song this week. “Flannel” is one that will get stuck in your head after listening to it the first time. You’re going to have this one on repeat.

Tenille Townes channels Kacey Musgraves in her new song “I Kept the Roses” this week. The song has a traditional sound to it that can take you back decades.

Teddy Robb, an up and comer who has worked with hit songwriter Shane McAnally on past projects, released a song that will put you right in the feels if you’re going through a breakup. “Tell Me How” is his new one this week.

Dee Jay Silver always has catchy songs and catchy remixes of popular country songs. This week he teams up with Waterloo Revival on a fun song called “GETAWAY DRIVER.”

Sarah Ross is an up and coming artist you may hearing more of in the coming years. With a country pop sound that also has hip hop elements she pushes the envelope on some of the songs. She released a new album in Nervous Breakdown and “Lovin’ This Beat” is one song from the album you should listen to.
