New Music: November 5, 2018

While there’s not a ton of new music this week there is enough to keep you busy for a week or so. We are less than two weeks from the 2018 CMA Awards and we will be creating all sorts of content previewing and recapping the biggest night in country music.

Carly Pearce released a new song that will be featured on her second album due out in 2019. “Closer To You” is catchy as hell. This one is going to get stuck in your head as you hit repeat on this jam.

Kip Moore is heading out on a brief acoustic tour this month so he released an acoustic version of “Plead the Fifth.” The song appeared on his SLOWHEART album in 2017 and will appear on his upcoming acoustic EP Room to Spare.

Tim McGraw released “Gravity” a song from National Geographic’s “Free Solo” film. We’re unsure if this will appear on his upcoming album or if this is simply a separate project.

Country new comer Cale Dodds released a fun jam about being proud to be country. Pour a cold one and crank the speakers when “Where I Get It From” comes on.

Joe Diffie is back with the release of “Quit You,” a classic country song that would fit in the 1990s where he shined just as well as this song could do in the current climate.

Chris Bandi, an under the radar artist from St. Louis, dropped a new song called “Why I Don’t Drink.”
