Yesterday country music showed out for Halloween. Whether the costumes make you laugh or go “Awww,” our favorite artists and songwriters brought their A game. We’d have a costume contest, but it’s too hard to pick a winner.
Lady Antebellum front man Charles Kelley’s family went with the Toy Story theme. Little Ward does Buzz Lightyear justice.
Lacy Cavalier and Danielle Bradbery went with a throwback to “A League of Their Own.”
Songwritter Shane McAnally and his family used the summer picnic as their inspiration for their costumes.
Lauren Alaina gathered up a few of her friends to recreate the Spice Girls. Oh and that’s her fiance dressed up as Posh.

“If you wanna be my lover, you gotta get with my friends.” My fiancé is my hero, and the Posh of my dreams. These girls Spice up my life. #LadiesInTheNineties #SpiceGirls Happy Halloween 🙂 swipe to see the original. Shout out to @rkdeeb for making our dreams come true shooting this photo.
Joe Don Rooney from Rascal Flatts and his wife pulled off the Egyptian look. Take a look at his caption. It’s worth the time to translate the Egyptian proverb.
Kelsea Ballerini and Morgan Evans donned what appears to be matching kangaroo onesies. They’re the best.
Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman joined in on the Halloween fun. However, we are struggling with what exactly their costumes are. Any ideas?
Luke Bryan and his wife Caroline are always up to some sort of shenanigans. These two are some of the best to follow on social media.
Filmore is almost unrecognizable as an old man. Brilliant.
Dylan Scott’s wife Blair and their son Beckett were adorable as Mickey and Minnie Mouse.
Brett Eldredge and his BFF Edgar absolutely nailed their Jurassic Park impersonation. Edgar looks thrilled.
I think it’s safe to say that Lindsay Ell pulled off Britney. Scroll through her post to see what other country singer joined her dressed as a Kardashian.
Scotty McCreery and his wife completely pulled off Stranger Things.
Jana Kramer and her family went all out. Let’s just hope Jolie isn’t seeing her dad’s costume in her nightmares!
The Deckers are the gold standard when it comes to celebrity families. It’s not always easy getting that family shot, but Jessie James Decker gave it a try.
Shay Mooney, from Dan + Shay, and his family went with the Star Wars theme. It makes you wonder what’s going through little Asher’s head.
Jason Aldean and his family also went with the Star Wars theme. We’re loving Brittany as Chewbacca, but not so sure Memphis would agree.
Granger Smith’s family went all out as the crew from The Greatest Showman. As Amber details in her post, things don’t always go according to plan. But if you scroll through the post, we think you’ll agree that they pulled it off.

Full disclosure – I had such big hopes for this costume when the kids said they wanted to be the Greatest Showman. The reality was – My dress was from China and didn’t fit, River was afraid of me and screamed getting into his costume. Granger said I was hideous 🤣and he hasn’t even seen the movie so he wasn’t all about it, London’s wig kept falling off and she was cold, Remi kept getting in the photo, I took lots of great pics with my Bluetooth shutter only to find out the camera somehow flipped the wrong way so we lost them. Little Lincoln was the only champ here. He IS the Greatest Showman. We ended up taking the costumes off and took a family selfie. This is our Halloween tonight and I’m not mad about it 💖 The first photo is my true Greatest Show but you can swipe to see what we were going for 😆. Happy Halloween everyone! #therealreel #momlife #parenthood #halloween #greatestshowman #thingsdontalwaysgoasplanned #mycircus 🎪 🎃🍭
If we “had” to crown a winner, we’d go with Thomas Rhett and his adorable family going as the characters from Monsters, Inc. Willa Gray as Boo and Ada James as Mike Wazowski totally melts your heart.
